About Our Products

  1. Where are your products manufactured?
    Kalastory collaborates with village-based artisans across India. We do not own production facilities, and instead, focus on preserving traditional Indian crafts while providing employment opportunities in rural areas.
  2. Are all Kalastory products handmade?
    We emphasize handcrafting wherever possible, using hand-woven fabrics, hand block-printing, and natural dyes. When power looms are involved, the fabric is decorated with hand techniques like block printing, embroidery, and embellishments.
  3. What are the benefits of handloom fabrics?
    Handloom fabrics have a unique character due to the traditional production methods. These fabrics breathe well, stay cool in summer, and retain warmth in winter.

    You will receive confirmation of your payment, and an order confirmation number will be emailed to you.

    Yes, we use secure payment gateways like Razorpay and we do not store your credit card details.
  5. What happens if an item is out of stock?
    If a product is unavailable after your order, we’ll notify you via email and refund your payment within two business days. We currently do not offer a backorder system.

    Typically, orders are delivered within 7 working days after dispatch. Larger orders or items in production may take longer, and we’ll keep you updated via email.

    We do not currently offer expedited shipping services.

    We ship door-to-door within India using reputable courier services from our warehouse in New Delhi.

    No, we do not process backorders. If an item is unavailable, we’ll notify you within two business days and issue a full refund.

    Yes, we ship available items together in one shipment.
  6. Can I ship different items to different addresses?
    Each order can only be shipped to one address. If you need items sent to multiple addresses, place separate orders.

    No, we require a full street address for delivery.
